DISCOVERY-TO-INNOVATION WORKSHOP

Robert Killoren
Bob Killoren is Ohio State's Associate Vice President for Research and Executive Director of the OSU Research Foundation. Most recently, Killoren served as Associate Vice President and Director of Sponsored Programs at Pennsylvania State University, where he worked since 1989. He has been active in the Federal Demonstration Partnership, where the model subagreement he helped develop was ultimately put forth as a national best practice by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the Office of Management and Budget. Bob Killoren is also a recent past president of the National Council of University Research Administrators.

The governance of the UIDP is structured to always have both a university and industry representative in its leadership team. Therefore, as Bob Killoren (university representative) finishes his term as President this year, and Susan Butts (industry representative) steps up to perform that job, a new university representative will be elected as the incoming vice president/president elect of the UIDP. The following year will see the election of a new industry representative as vice president/president elect, and so on.
