Organizations can increase their visibility within the UIDP community by sponsoring UIDP meetings, regional events, workshops and other educational programming.
A small and strategic set of sponsorships allows the UIDP to produce quality programming and avoid over-commercialization of events. Sponsoring UIDP meetings and other events provides an opportunity to:
- Gain exposure to an audience of university and industry representatives
- Make strategic relationships in an environment conducive to networking
- Showcase your organization as an innovation leader
- Contribute in a meaningful and appropriate way to the event (depending on the type of event and/or level of sponsorship).
There are four primary levels of sponsorship commitment for most UIDP events:
Host sponsors make a commitment to provide the meals, meeting facilities and logistical assistance for the event. The investment can be made through direct cash investment or through in-kind services and support. Many Host Sponsors work to secure support to meet the requirements of their event sponsorship through their own networks of partners and suppliers.
The support for this level of sponsorship can be provided in direct cash investment or in-kind services and support. Lead Sponsor commitments are made either to the Host Sponsor or directly to UIDP.
This level of sponsorship can be provided in direct cash investment or in-kind services and support. Exhibiting Sponsor commitments are made either to the Host Sponsor or directly to UIDP. The number of Exhibiting Sponsorships available for each UIDP event is determined on an event-by-event basis.
The support for this level of sponsorship can be provided in direct cash investment or in-kind services and support. General Sponsor commitments are made either to the Host Sponsor or directly to UIDP. The number of General Sponsorships available for each UIDP event is determined on an event-by-event basis.
